Information and FAQ
What kind of conference is this?
This is a youth conference hosted by the Marion Avenue Baptist Church of Washington, Iowa. We are a Biblical, Independent, Fundamental Baptist Church. We believe in one Bible, the King James Bible. We believe in old-fashioned Bible preaching, teaching and Christ honoring music. We are not affiliated with or supported by any college or denomination. This is a solid youth conference you can trust.
What is the cost?
The registration cost is $50 per person until April 27, 2025. After that, the price increases by $5 per person. - Registration includes admittance to the conference, T Shirts, Conference Materials, Meals, Prizes, All activities and more! (Does not include lodging – please see the lodging section for lodging details)!
What time does the conference start and end?
The conference will start promptly at 5:30pm on Thursday, May 8, 2025. (Registration begins at 3:00pm at the Church).
The conference will end after the evening service on Friday, May 9, 2025 (Approx. 8:30 PM)
May we register at the door?
To make sure we have enough seating, please register in advance. Even if you don't know the exact number of delegates.
Do chaperones need to pay the registeration fee?
Yes, all adults and teens need to register and pay the registration fee. (The only exception is the following: Pastor & Spouse, Youth Pastor & Spouse, CDL Bus Driver, and 1 Youth Worker & Spouse.)
How many chaperones should our group bring?
Each group MUST have proper oversight for the entirety of the conference. For mixed youth groups, both men and lady chaperones are required.
Who is allowed to attend the conference?
Grade 6 through Age 19 as delegates. Nurseries will be provided for youth worker’s children ages 3mo – 2 years old. Ages 3 through Grade 5 may only attend the conference as paid delegates if they are with their paid parents.
Is there airport transportation?
If the need for airport transportation is indicated on your registration form, please send your travel itinerary with group size and contact information to pastor@marionavenuebaptist.com
How do I get my seats?
There is no prior conference reserved seating. Seating will be given on a first-come, first-served basis for all delegates. Delegates should sit with the church they are registered with.
What is the dress code?
Each group must have their own dress code in place and enforced by the individual youth directors and group leaders. Church dress would be appropriate for the Thursday evening session. Casual dress can be worn on Friday.
